The house

Acroterra is a traditional stone house in a quiet spot, just 1.5 km from the centre of Areopoli in Mani (Laconia, Peloponnese). It has a lawn, a courtyard with a stone arch and a table for dining outdoors, all looking out over the bay. Here you can enjoy the peace of nature and, every evening, a wonderful sunset over the sea.

Things to do in the area

Areopoli is the perfect base for exploring Mani. Stroll through the cobbled lanes of the old village, visit the Diros Caves, and swim at Limeni and the little beaches nearby. You can also venture down to Gerolimenas, Vathia and Cape Tainaro, and enjoy fresh fish and local flavours at the tavernas by the sea.
